Coaches

The ROLE OF BEING AN

ARCHERY Coach

Coaches and coaching structures are integral to an athlete’s success.

From beginner to elite levels, it is the coaches with the correct technical knowledge and the ability to teach the sport who ensure that archery is practised in a fun, safe and positive environment while helping archers reach their competitive potential.

What makes a great coach?

There are a lot of opinions about what makes a great coach, from “ones who’s archers win all the time” to “ones who are nice people”. But what do the athletes think? We asked some archers what they thought made a great coach.
