Urgent Call for Team Officials for Pacific Games 2019

Archery NZ are now seeking registrations of interest from those who are keen on being nominated to NZOC as team officials for the Pacific Games, Apia, Samoa 7 – 20th July 2019.

Team managers and/or coaches are specially sought. Coaches must be Archery NZ accredited.

The Oceania CQT (Continental Qualifying Tournament) for the Oceania Mixed Team Recurve place for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be held at the Pacific Games.  It is essential Archery NZ has at least one Team Official at this event.

The Archery NZ Board is keen to hear from anyone who may be interested or wants to know more.

A Teams Official Application Form and the Team Agreement and Code of Conduct will need to be completed prior to consideration being given for nomination. Both of these documents can be found on the Archery NZ website under “Athletes” – selection info.

All prospective Team Officials will be required to undergo Police Vetting as per NZOC requirements.

Applications need to be completed as soon as possible and ideally prior to the 1st December 2018.

  • World Cup 1 – Shanghai China, 6th – 12th May
  • World Cup 2 – Antalya Turkey, 20th – 26th May
  • World Championships – S-Hertogenbosch The Netherlands, 10th – 16th June
  • World Cup 3 – Berlin Germany, 1st – 7th July
  • Summer Universiades - Napoi Italy – 9th – 13th July
  • World Cup – Salt lake City USA, 19th – 25th August
  • Youth World Championships – Madrid Spain, TBC (probably around August)
  • World 3D Championships -   Lac La Biche Canada, 2nd – 6th September

Team Coach, Assistant Coach & Assistant Manager/s are also being sort for the 2019 Trans Tasman Event Auckland NZ, 7th – 11th July.
