The Board are pleased to announce that the host agreement for Outdoor Nationals 2022 and 2023 has been confirmed with River Glade Archers, the hosts of the 2021 edition (which was a 1+2 hosting arrangement). Having now exercised the additional 2 years option, River Glade have developed the following provisional programme, with most events to be hosted at St Peter's College, Cambridge, and field at their Whatawhata field venue. This will be held within the Easter school holidays.
Sun 17 April - Unmarked Field
Mon 18 April - Marked Field & Field Match Play
Tue 19 April - Clout & Official Practice
Wed 20 April - Target - 1440
Thu 21 April - Target - 72 Arrow Round & Team Match Play
Fri 22 April - Individual Match Play
Sat 23 April - Match Play Finals Day & Banquet
Save the dates - an entry form will be advertised via ArcheryOSA once available. RGA are planning to make available some of the on-site accommodation, which may be of interest to some competitors.
We are very grateful to River Glade Archers for again putting on this pinnacle event of the national calendar, and look forward to working with them, and seeing you all there.
It will also be the first Nationals that Novice and Development grades will be available, so Nationals will be accessible to our members, no matter your level of experience. Further information will be issued regarding formalising these new grades, which received very positive feedback from members during consultation. Clubs, please strongly encourage your newer members, and your members who have not previously felt comfortable competing at Nationals, to look out for this information and try out these new classes.
