Notice of the Ballot results for the changes to the Outdoor National Championships and Selection Panel

The following sets out the results of the latest ballot undertaken by the Archery NZ Board.  A total of 141 votes (35.7% of eligible voting members) were received.

Motion #1: Archery NZ (Inc) un-tethers the roles of Vice President from Convener of the Selection Panel & Rankings Administrator from Selection Panel member and this is reflected in the Archery NZ Constitution & Rules.

Action:

1. The Archery NZ Constitution and Rules will be amended to reflect these changes and updates versions loaded onto the Archery NZ Website over the next month or so.

Motion #2:  The Archery NZ National Outdoor Championships is split into two separate events, the Archery NZ Field Championships & the Archery NZ Outdoor Target Championships and this is reflected in the Archery NZ Constitution & Rules.

Actions:

1. The Archery NZ Constitution and Rules will be amended to reflect these changes and updates versions loaded onto the Archery NZ Website over the next month or so.
2. The Archery NZ Board is keen to progress this new format and to have the Archery NZ Field Championships held over Labour Weekend 2017, with the Archery NZ Outdoor Target Championships being held in early 2018.  A call for hosts for these two events will be circulated in conjunction with this notice.
