The Board of Archery New Zealand cordially invites you to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association, to be held online (by Zoom) on Tuesday, 26th of September 2023. The Agenda for the Meeting is attached to this email.
Constitution
The AGM will use the Constitution dated 1st October 2022. The Board approved the following motion at the meeting of 18th July 2023:
Taking into account the advice received from SportNZ legal counsel, the Board will act in good faith in all matters and in accordance with the will of the membership hold the AGM in accordance with Section 8 of the Constitution dated 1/10/2022.
Up to and following the AGM the Board shall make it their priority to have a full legal review of the Archery NZ Constitution to meet all requirements of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.

Quorum
Under Section 10 of the above constitution, a minimum of 10% of current bone-fide Full Individual Members shall form a quorum at any General Meeting in person or online. If a quorum is not present at any stage, the meeting may be adjourned. For Annual General Meetings only, if the stated quorum has not been attained, the number of Full Individual members in attendance 30 minutes after the start of the meeting shall be deemed a quorum.
To assist the administration in this matter the meeting waiting room will be open at 7.10 pm to check membership. It would be helpful if you could have your full name shown on your screen. A document on how to change your display name in Zoom is attached.

Board Nominations
Archery NZ is seeking nominations for TWO Board members to fill vacant positions on the Board. Each position is for three years. Nominations can be made using a Google Form.
