The Royle Hutton Annual Tournament is held every year on Waitangi Day to commemorate Royle Hutton, the founder of Youth Archery in New Zealand.

Open only to all Archery New Zealand affiliated members. This postal shoot is to be shot wet or fine on Waitangi Day 6th February. To be shot under minor tournament conditions at an archery club grounds.

Please get involved at your local club. The distances are suitable for most archers.

 

Round               Burton

Archers will shoot 5 x 6 arrows at each distance of 55m, 46m & 37m; except Junior B (under 16) who will shoot 37m, 28m and 18m.
1 x 6 arrows sighting end at each distance
10 zone target face

Classes: Recurve (R), Barebow (BBR), Longbow (LB), Compound (C), Crossbow (X), plus Traditional and Para Recurve, Para Compound, Para W1

Divisions: Open, Masters 50+, Masters 65+, Junior A (16 to 20 years), and Junior B (under 16 years).

Face Sizes: Recurve, Barebow Traditional, Longbow and Compound will shoot 122cm; Crossbow will shoot 60cm

Entry fee: $5.00 per archer. Archers should pay to your club and the club will be invoiced by Archery NZ. Clubs may deposit entry fees online: Kiwi Bank 38 9015 0468141 01

Use "Club" name in reference with the number of archers.

Medals: Medals will be awarded for all bow types, in the Youth A, Youth B, Senior and Masters age groups.
