Support for WA Level 2 Coach Training Course in New Caledonia

21 May, 2018

Following the Oceania Championships this year (Championships run from 9-13 July) World Archery Oceania is running a Level 2 Coach Training Course.  This is a 9-day course, and suitable for coaches with a minimum of 1 year coaching experience.
World Archery Oceania will be funding accommodation and meals, and have invited ArcheryNZ to nominate two coaches for this event.
In addition, ArcheryNZ has agreed to subsidise travel costs for the two coaches for up to a maximum $500 in value.
Requirements for coaches:
  1. Coaches must be a current accredited Archery NZ Development or Performance Coach (which requires membership to Archery NZ to be current)
  2. Coaches must have actively coached for a minimum of 1 year.
  3. Each of the two coaches be from a different geographic district in NZ (ADAA, WAA, ECBOPAA and SIDAA).
  4. Coaches are to provide an outline plan (in expression of interest) of how they will use the experience gained in this course to contribute to developing archery in NZ (e.g. archer development, training camps, seminars etc.).
Final details are not yet available, but as the event is not too far away, we request that expressions of interest, including outline plan, be submitted to [email protected] by Friday 1st June.  Further details on the event will be posted on the Archery NZ website once made available.
Kind regards,
Andrew
