Selection Policy & Criteria for the World Archery Youth Championships 2017

17 September, 2016

The Selection Policy & Criteria for the World Archery Youth Championships 2017 is now available.

The scores reflect the Selection Panel requires archers to be able to obtain a possible top 60% placing in the 72 arrow Ranking Round due to the size of the divisions and this is reflected in the qualification scores.

As the Selection Policy template remains the same it still states the requirement to compete at the Archery NZ Outdoor Championships in the year of the event.  Due to the special circumstances occurring in 2017 the Selection Panel do believe that the Junior & Cadet archers interested in qualifying for this event would achieve value by competing at Nationals in Dec/January 2017, however if circumstances do not allow this an Application for Dispensation needs to be submitted prior to this time.

We look forward to having a strong & enthusiastic team for this event.

Karen L Moffatt-McLeod

Convener, Selection Panel.
