River Glade Archers and Archery NZ are excited to notify the confirmed dates of the Archery NZ Outdoor National Championship as 1-7 January 2023.

Thank you to everyone who responded to the online survey, sharing your input on date preference. The options we had were 1-7 Jan 2023 or 9-15 April. We had 54 respondents, and the poll showed that it was split evenly between the two dates. After the poll went out, we were advised that the WA Oceania Championship in Tahiti had been set down for
the same week in April 2023. We also looked at the availability of Judges etc. These two things have been the main driver in our decision to hold the ANZ National Championship in January of 2023.

Our best intentions are to return to the April holidays in 2024 for the ANZ Outdoor National Championship as we prepare to celebrate the 80th jubilee.

The field portion of the event will be held at River Glade’s field range in Whatawhata (those of you who were present in 2020 will know what a great range this is and how good it is for spectators!). The target event will be at St Peters College in Cambridge.
