Board Statement on Member Protection

14 April, 2021

The Board of Archery NZ takes very seriously allegations of bullying and harassment within the archery community and would like to remind our community of our Member Protection Policy which sets out the expectations of all members. Anyone observing or experiencing unacceptable behaviour is strongly encouraged to discuss this with The Chair of Archery NZ ([email protected]), or any Board member. Alternatively formal complaints can be made to [email protected] and will be fully investigated.

All archers, officials, and administrators have a right to participate in archery without being exposed to bullying and harassing behaviour. We are committed to eliminating bullying and harassment from within our organisation and the Board has reviewed and updated the Disputes & Disciplinary Policy. This policy details the procedure for assessing and handling complaints without prejudice. With the support of our members and clubs, we strive to make our organisation a safe and positive environment for all current and future members.
