The 2020 Auckland District Target Championships was held on the weekend of 25 and 26 January at Auckland Archery Club. The rounds shot was a 1440 on the Saturday and a double 720 on the Sunday.

Some amazing results were had on the 1440 day, with a few records broken at distances, including Meike Voigt who smashed her record by nearly 100 points! The weather was hot with a breeze that strengthened to a wind on the second day.

Thanks to our judges: Hanlie Bam, Clive Hudson and Elizabeth Andrew; our Director of Shooting, Peter McLean; Auckland Archery Club for hosting the event, and all volunteers and administration who helped out to make the event the success that it was.

There were some ADAA trophies awarded for the top scorer in their bow class for the weekend (eg for all female recurvers), and were as follows:

Female Barebow: Meike Voigt

Male Barebow: Vaughan Anderson
