World Archery Championships in Copenhagen 2015

6th November 2014

To those athletes wanting to put their names forward for selection for the World Archery Championships in Copenhagen 2015, please read the following notice from the organising committee.

So that arrangements can be made early, and the team doesn’t miss out on the preferred options for accommodation, it would be appreciated if you could notify the Selection Panel of your intentions in the usual way, Expression of Interest application form as soon as possible, but no later than 15th December 2014. This only means that you are working towards selection and does not automatically mean you will be selected. All archers must meet the qualifying criteria as posted on the website by the closing date 6th April 2015.

Costs in Denmark for accommodation are very expensive by both our standards, and UK standards, so if you are considering the Championships, you may need to consider saving for this now!  The Board will endeavour to seek out the best prices for travel, and to also seek funding for this on behalf of the team.

“The organising committee is working full time to plan what it hopes to be, the top archery event of 2015. The registration for the World Archery Championships in Copenhagen 2015 will open in late January 2015. The program can be found on the official Championship web site:
